Innerhalb der »Auftakt«-Woche werden die eingereichten Projektvorschläge für 2022 auf der Webseite der nGbK öffentlich vorgestellt: Multimediale Präsentationen geben Einblick in die Ideen für Ausstellungs-, Veranstaltungs- und Publikationsvorhaben. Die nGbK ist die einzige Kunstinstitution, die ihr gesamtes Jahresprogramm in einem transparenten, öffentlichen Prozess auswählt. Dabei werden alle eingereichten Projekte von Gruppen umgesetzt – so die Vereinsregel.

Die Mitglieder stimmen basisdemokratisch über die Inhalte eines jeden Jahresprogramms ab. Während der »Auftakt«-Woche wählen sie die Projekte und damit die thematische Ausrichtung der nGbK für das Folgejahr.
Für 2022 soll der Fokus u.a. auf den anstehenden Transformationsprozess des Vereins hinsichtlich des Umzugs in die Karl-Marx-Allee und auf inhaltliche sowie räumliche Kooperationen liegen.

During »Prelude« week, the project proposals that have been submitted will be shown on the nGbK website, with multimedia presentations offering insights into the ideas for exhibitions, events and publications. The nGbK is the only art institution that selects its entire programme for each year in a transparent pubic process. All projects are realized by groups, in accordance with nGbK rules.

All nGbK members vote on the content of each year’s programme. During »Prelude« week, they select the projects and thus also the thematic focus for the following year. In 2022, projects will deal, among others, with nGbK’s forthcoming transformation as it moves from Kreuzberg to Karl-Marx-Allee, as well as partnerships with other projects and venues.
